Marriage License

If you need a certified copy of a marriage record/certificate from a parish other than Orleans Parish, you must contact the Clerk of Court in that parish. An alphabetical list of Clerks of Court in Louisiana by parish is available at: http://laclerksofcourt.org/clerksofcourt.htm

Information includes the name of the Clerk of Court, the physical and mailing address, phone and fax numbers, and e-mail address.

The Louisiana Vital Records Registry maintains marriage records ONLY for marriage licenses that were purchased in Orleans Parish. Comprehensive information is available online at:
